Well That’s It Folks …

My Final Major Project has drawn to an abrupt end people, that’s it!! Finito. Finished. Done. 

It’s been an experience, we’ve had our ups and downs. More ‘downs’ than 'ups’ mind you but it’s been good. I’ve enjoyed it and I hope you have too. 

Anyway that’s that. Aw, no!! Don’t cry … I’m still going to blog on 'ravenouswritingdesk.tumblr.com’, so don’t worry this isn’t the last you’ve heard from me :)

This is rather quick Mock-Up of what I want the ‘Symbolic Replacement’ piece to come out like. It will however be portrait not landscape when I actually exhibit it and will include 46 persons instead of the 30 odd shown in the photo. I am please with what it’s going to look like and have decided that I will display just the first name of the person the image/object is representing underneath, using a typewriter to do so.

Final Idea - May Onwards.

Seeing as I only have a week left of the project I have decided to do one last artwork. It will be call ‘Symbolic Replacement’ and it will be a representation of my overall theme, the idea of symbols replacing someone’s identity. 

I will take around 50 people that I know and choosing something specific to them to become there representable symbol. I will use both found objects and made imagery in this piece. I have also decided I will present them neatly like that of the images from 'theburninghouse’ project.
